Our MICE Impact Trip to The Hague is designed as an Impact Learning Journey – because The Hague is also known as the Impact City. As the seat of the Dutch government, The Hague is a center for sustainable development and the birthplace of many public-private partnerships on security, humanitarian innovation, sustainability in all areas, renewable energy and food innovation. Under the motto “Innovations for a better world”, co-creation is encouraged and supported by the municipality of The Hague.
In the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) industry, it is increasingly important to look beyond only business objectives. Events need a message, a mission, to be as sustainable as possible and preferably contribute to the greater good. The city of The Hague, seat of the Government of The Netherlands, supports this way of thinking by showcasing that economic success and social engagement can and should go hand in hand. The city’s motto ‘Doing Good and Doing Business’ encapsulates this mindset.

As a very special highlight, we will visit the legendary Ocean Race – the toughest team sailing race around the world, which will make its last stop in The Hague in 2023 before the finish line in Genoa. The Ocean Race has set sustainability as one of its guiding principles and is instrumental in preserving and protecting our oceans.
